      <image:title>Clinical Psychotherapy - Expertise</image:title>
<image:caption>After more than 15 years in senior sales and management roles the digital media sector, I transitioned to the mental health field and earned a Master of Social Work (clinical track) from Boston University. While there, I trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) under Daniel Beck, LCSW. I continued my post-graduate education and received certification in Clinical Assessment and Diagnosis from New York University. I also completed specialized training in Corrections Treatment through the Center for Criminality and Addiction Research at the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine. Additionally, I pursued advanced training in CBT through the Beck Institute in Philadelphia. Currently, I serve as a crisis clinician in the Emergency Department at UCSF. Previously, I was a crisis psychotherapist at UCSF’s Department of Psychiatry, where I held medical staff clinical privileges. I also provided clinical supervision in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to medical staff and PGY-3 psychiatry residents. In addition to my clinical work, I maintain a boutique private practice, where I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, interpersonal challenges, and couples navigating relationship stress.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Clinical Psychotherapy - Approach</image:title>
<image:caption>My clients often describe me as warm, supportive, and productive in our work together. Make no mistake—therapy is work. But it’s also a powerful healing process that requires honesty, participation, and vulnerability. Our work will be tailored to your individual needs or relationship goals. I draw from evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to address unhelpful thought and behavior patterns, and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to help couples build stronger, more secure emotional connections. Through this process, meaningful and lasting change becomes possible. I work with adolescents, adults, and couples.</image:caption>
